LifeSci NYC Internship Program Seeks Hosts

Do you work in the life sciences industry in New York City? The LifeSci NYC Internship Program, part of New York City's 10-year, $500 million investment in the life sciences industry, is now seeking hosts for summer 2020.

In the program's first two years, nearly 200 college and graduate students have worked in science (research) or business/management-track internships at over 60 companies, ranging from small startups to multinational corporations. The program handles all aspects of recruiting and identifying candidates to consider as interns and there is no obligation to hire candidates through the program. And as a city-funded program, there is no cost to participating in the program apart from paying the interns at least minimum wage of $15/hour. Last summer, nearly 1,200 students applied, showing the strong demand for high-quality summer internships.

The host application is available at http://bit.ly/LifeSciHost2020. If you have any questions about the program, the application, or the matching process, please contact Sharon Albert Kaplan at sharon@upperweststrategies.com.
